This exciting new post sits within the Policy and Campaigns Team and will support the delivery of a five-year youth-led campaign. In this role, you'll work alongside young people who have lived experience of policing - empowering them to use their voices to change how the police interact with children.
Young people have shaped this role and process
Lived experience is so important to everything we do here at JfKL. That's why young people aren’t just part of this recruitment process, they’re helping to lead it. From shaping the job description and co-producing interview questions to sitting on the panel and having a say on who we hire, their voices impact everything we do.
Applications from people with lived experience
We know that great youth participation workers don't all come from the same background. If you have experience of youth work, community action, campaigning, or your own lived experience of policing, we encourage you to apply. We welcome people with a range of lived and professional experiences and are committed to building a diverse, anti-racist and trauma-informed team that puts children's rights at the heart of our work.
