Robbie Eyles

Criminal Solicitor

Robbie is a Solicitor in our Criminal Defence team. He represents children and young people up to the age of 25 from a wide range of backgrounds who are charged with criminal offences.

He conducts his own advocacy in the Youth Court and the Magistrates Court, including trials. He also represents clients in proceedings in the Crown Court. He is an empathetic advocate and believes in a trauma-informed and strength-based approach to representing his clients.

Robbie completed his Training Contract at Just for Kids Law. During this he gained experience in representing young people with issues in relation to education, community care and public law in addition to criminal defence. He also has significant experience of family law. This broad range of experience allows him to have a well-rounded knowledge of the rights of children and young people.

He also has a particular interest in the rights of undocumented migrant children and has published two journal articles on the subject in peer-reviewed academic journals.
