Robbie is a solicitor in our Criminal Defence team. He represents children and young people up to the age of 25 who are charged with criminal offences. He is an empathetic advocate with experience representing clients from a wide range of backgrounds who face a variety of allegations, including at trial.
Robbie has developed significant specialist expertise in youth justice law. Alongside his work at Just for Kids Law, he also works at the Youth Justice Legal Centre, the centre of excellence for youth justice law in England & Wales. At YJLC, Robbie helps run the national advice line, providing advice to families and professionals on the law on children in the criminal justice system. He also trains other professionals, writes YJLC’s legal guides and has contributed to the upcoming version of the book Youth Justice Law and Practice.
He believes in a trauma-informed and strength-based approach to representing his clients, and he is passionate about the impact that a lawyer can have on a young person’s life.
