Alan had worked for a not-for profit organisation for 13 years as a programmer/analyst before switching to the public sector working in City & Islington College for a further 12 years providing adult learner support in ICT/Functional Skills, teaching Maths/ICT to 16-18 ESOL learners, then eventually settling as a data analyst, where he learned the workings of a corporate finance package, which enable him to create a scaled-down finance system for a Montessori nursery. He gained further finance experience working for a restaurant. He joined Just for Kids Law in November 2018. In between juggling work and family time, he occasionally hits the drums and rocks out at gigs.
