Just for Kids Law has won Organisation of the Year, taking home the most sought-after of the Howard League for Penal Reform's Community Awards. JfKL were awarded the prestigious prize at a ceremony that followed the Howard League's "Policing the community" conference in central London.

The Howard League Community Awards recognise the country’s most successful community projects encouraging desistance from crime. JfKL was chosen from a shortlist of seven organisations, including Circles South East and the Safer Living Foundation, both of whom received special commendations from the prize committee.

In awarding the prize, Howard League trustee Gerry Marshall highlighted JfKL's holistic approach and commitment to wider reform of the youth justice sector, as well as the long history of collaboration between the two organisations.
